Celebrating the Resurrection

Easter Services

At our Easter services, we celebrate Jesus’ greatest miracle and act of service to humanity. They remind us of Jesus’ death on the cross and his resurrection from the dead. You can find information on our Good Friday service here. You can find info on our Easter services below.

Saturday – April 20

8:00pm                     Great Vigil of Easter
The Great Vigil is an ancient Easter celebration in the Church, where we gather by candlelight to recall the resurrection of Jesus. We hear several passages read from the Old Testament through the service. This helps us remember the many ways God acted in Israel’s history to save the nation. The service reaches its peak when the lights are turned on, we begin singing and then we read the Gospel story about Jesus’ resurrection. We end the service with communion. Join us afterward for snacks & appetizers, wine and desserts after the service.

Easter Sunday – April 21

7:30am                     Easter Breakfast
A joyful opportunity to enjoy food, conversation and friendship as we celebrate our Lord’s victory over the grave. All are welcome.

9am & 11am           Easter Eucharist
Our regular Sunday services, with special emphasis on the resurrection of Jesus Christ. We offer children’s ministry during both services.
