Annual Church BBQ

Outdoor Service

Sunday, June 16th @ 10am @ Claudette Cain Park. The outdoor service and picnic is a highlight of our church year. We celebrate the beginning of summer by moving our worship service to a local park. The service follows our same regular worship format, but in a less formal style. Then, following the service, we light up the barbecues for hot dogs, salads, snacks and drinks.

The outdoor service is part of a fun day, where children and adults worship together and enjoy a relaxed time of fun and games afterwards. The picnic takes place next to playgrounds suitable for young children, and all are welcome (even pets). Click here for directions to Claudette Cain Park.

Bring a lawn chair, and dress for the weather (including mosquito spray!). In case of rain, the service and picnic will be moved back to the church. Stay tuned on our facebook, twitter and webpage, or call the church if you’re not certain about the weather: 613-823-8118. Bring a side dish if you can, but don’t worry if you can’t: there should be plenty to eat. Hope to see you there!
