How we help young people find their way in faith and in life

Young people aren't just the future of the church. They are part of the church right now.

Sunday kids' club

Kids’ Club (aka Sunday School) is normally held during our 10am Sunday morning worship services, except during the summer months. It’s tailored for children ages 3-11, and run by trained teachers and parents. Through bible stories, crafts, service projects and fun, children learn what Christian faith is about. They make friends, and come to recognize themselves as important members of the church.

Nursery is made available during Sunday services, for toddlers, infants and their caregivers. This is a friendly space, which doubles as our clergy office during the week. It’s an unsupervised area, so parents are asked to remain with their children. Age-appropriate toys, space to play, and a clear view of the church space make this a convenient place for parents who wish to observe the service while letting their children stretch their legs. It’s located next to the church worship space, separated by a glass wall. Changing facilities are located in the washroom in the area behind the nursery.

Youth group

Youth Group normally meets on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month, during the 10 am Sunday worship service (we take a break during the summer). Youth group is geared to young people aged 12 – 17 and is led by our dedicated team of leaders. We meet in the back room of the church during our Sunday worship service for discussion and study. We also meet regularly outside of church for fun activities or service opportunities in the community.
